Zeelander Yachts, a leading Dutch shipyard, which creates a luxury motor yacht with an elegant design, proudly announced the release of its flagship 17-meter model Z55 with a revolutionary combination of engines.
The requirement of the client, whose name, of course, were not disclosed, it was very simple: “I want it to be the fastest Zeelander of all that ever was built!” And at the maximum speed of the yacht in 42 knots he will get exactly what you wanted.
The launch of the yacht is expected in summer 2018. Zeelander Z55 is equipped with two engines Volvo Penta IPS-1350 and by the way, this will be the first Zeelander yacht for the owner.
“To install the new engines, we further increased the strength of the hull around the engine room, commented Leonardo van den Berg, commercial Director of Zeelander Yachts. — Despite the fact that these engines are more powerful than those we have used before, it does not affect the high level of comfort on Board. New boat — the quiet as a Rolls-Royce on the water.”
Zeelander Yachts specially hired a consulting company to do a miracle-the boat is almost silent. After the tests the insulation of the engine room was upgraded to the level of mega-yachts, and hydrostabilized became semi-flexible, allowing to avoid structural noise. Special attention was paid to the balance of the engine.
And some figures in conclusion: the cost of a yacht is 2 420 200 euros.
