The Austrian eco-oriented shipyard Silent Yachts showed how will look the new catamaran Cruiser 79 Silent running on solar batteries. It is reported that already sold two models of 24-metre catamaran, the first of which will be delivered in 2020.
Designer Marco Casali who worked on the project, notes that its main task was the combination of classic Italian design with innovation at its core with panels on the roof.
In the end, 79 Silent, completely powered by solar energy, characterized by simple and clean design with straight lines and huge Windows that allow you to get enough natural light.
Free zones in front and rear of the deck gives the owner the opportunity to use them at their discretion. And lounge cockpit wet bar will delight those who prefer not to travel on the water without parties.
Representatives of the shipyard noted that the model is Silent 79 is available in several versions, and can accommodate up to 10 guests in five cabins. The captain’s cabin always will have a private bathroom, a Desk, wardrobe and a large mirror.
As for performance, the vessel is equipped with two engines with a capacity of 250 kW for a maximum speed of 20 knots. Also available is a version of hybrid power, which includes the combination of a pair of 220-volt motors with two diesel engines with a capacity of 14 kW.
