Sunseeker will create the largest yacht in its history
It became known that the British Builder Sunseeker will unveil an aluminum superyacht 161, created in collaboration with Dutch shipyard ICON Yachts, in 2021. This boat will not only be the largest in the history of the superyacht shipbuilder, but also a first for Sunseeker metallic vessel.
49 metre 161 will be built on the object ICON in Harlingen. However, we are talking exclusively about the innovative aluminium case, while the naval architecture, design and engineering will remain under the supervision of the British team.
Unfortunately, open details about Sunseeker by ICON not as much as I would like. But we already know, for example, that the yacht will have a characteristic Sunseeker Windows and more aggressive (in terms of design of course) the wheelhouse.
Representatives of shipyards also say that the yacht 161 will be ideal for those who want a comfortable and efficiently — whatever it meant to travel great distances.
Standard configuration of the vessel is designed for 10 guests, but the yacht can accommodate up to 12 people, depending on layout.
As reported MBY using the Sunseeker Bespoke service, customers will be able to adapt the interior to your wishes to enjoy, for example, features such as a plunge pool on the main deck or the beach club at the stern (the story, which is usually implemented on larger boats).
“We wanted to build larger ships, because we have the demand for these vessels as the Sunseeker 155 yacht,” says Sean Robertson, sales Director at Sunseeker. He adds that this is only the beginning of a long journey.
