Milan Fashion Week is in full swing. In this review, vogue.ua says that they presented for the next season the main figures of the Italian luxury segment – Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Max Mara.

Bottega Veneta

A cloud bag and square-toe shoes became It-things in almost one night. Therefore, everyone eagerly expected that Daniel Lee would present for Bottega Veneta in the new season.

Lee created variations of knitted dresses with interesting twisted elements and necklines. Men got versions of sweaters with similar details that expose the skin. Without changing course, in the spring-summer 2020 season, Bottega Veneta continues to work with the skin: models range from anoraks to trench coats, although this time they looked much easier. Lee's new ideas centered around the concept of sportiness, which turned into leather basketball shorts for guys and a pair of knee-length shorts for women. Tops with the image of monkeys and pineapples did not quite fit into the rest of the line, but as the designer continues to build and search for his handwriting for Bottega Veneta, he must trust his instinct to experiment.

Fendi

Sylvia Venturini Fendi described the Fendi spring-summer 2020 collection as a “sunny mood”: a carefree state, sun kisses, and increased serotonin. The summer theme for the collection was probably purposefully simple, like for the season, which represents a reload and a new experience.

Fendi showed off a relaxed clothing collection: plenty of double-sided patterns, some psychedelic patterns, a collar and cuffs, a long lycra flower robe with patchwork inserts of dyed fur, brown suede dresses and slightly perforated trench coats, brown organza items in a plaid. Also visible was the imprint of Venturini Fendi's own personal style in ultra-light organic cotton details.

Max mara

Jan Griffiths' new collection for Max Mara is a potential wardrobe for a female spy thriller, with clothes, he said, for everything from “chasing a car to a ball”.

The show began with a variation of gray costumes that combined classic and utilitarian styles. Griffiths worked the same way with the entire collection. As always, the line is made in pastel colors, sometimes there is a cell and black and white peas. The coat is the main thing in this label, but for the next season it was presented in a single version – double-breasted cashmere in an ice blue shade. The brand also introduced evening wear. The show ended with a series of dresses with ties at the back.
